How much should I charge for homemade baked goods?
Work out the ingredient cost for one batch and divide by how many pieces it makes, add packaging per piece, then add your time (hours per batch x hourly rate, divided by pieces). That is your cost per piece. Home bakers commonly price at about 2 to 3 times that cost, and should never price below it.
